College Your Way! The CUNY Explorers program at Medgar Evers College (MEC) is offering in-person visits for Fall 2025-2026. Located in the vibrant heart of Central Brooklyn, our campus is a hub of learning, creativity, and community. With modern classrooms, and access to city-wide resources, Medgar Evers College offers a welcoming environment that reflects the diversity and energy of New York City. These on-campus tours are led by our current college students who give real-life experiences and tips on preparing for the transition. During our tour, students will learn about our various opportunities, majors and preparedness for their future careers. Students will also gain insight on our resources in place to make their college life experience easier such as our tutoring services, social clubs, financial aid and student life programs.
We also offer high school workshops!
Telling your story & career preparation- The CUNY Explorers program at Medgar Evers College offers interactive high school workshops catered to 9th and 10th grade students. Our high school workshops seek to provide the building blocks needed to jumpstart their career path early, which will help in deciding their college majors. Visit guides lead these workshops, discussing their experiences with college preparation and unique journeys. This workshop is an opportunity for students to prepare for their future by participating in constructive discussions and activities with Medgar Evers College students.
